Dr. Park’s research group focuses on metabolic and growth effects of thyroid hormone and nuclear receptors. For the clinical research, Dr. Park and her colleagues have a community-based cohort and research the prevalence, incidence, and metabolic or neurocognitive effects of thyroid dysfunction. They are also working on pathogenesis of thyroid cancer, prediction of the prognosis of thyroid cancer, and strategies for the diagnosis of thyroid cancer.
