Our laboratory, laboratory of cell biology, is located in Cancer Research Institute. Our research focus is the isolation and culture of cancer cells, cancer genetics and epigenetics of cancer cells, and the isolation and characterization of genes associated with anti-cancer drug resistance using molecular biology, DNA microarray and proteomic approaches. We have been also interested in cancer stem cells. Our laboratory has been also maintaining the Korean Cell Line Bank (http://cellbank.snu.ac.kr). The cell lines of SNU-series has been established and characterized by our laboratory and distributed through Korean Cell Line Bank.
