Dr. Young Bin Choy is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Seoul National University College of Medicine. He received his B.S. from Seoul National University, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Wisconsin - Madison and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana, Champaign. Dr. Choy is a recipient of the Best Paper Award, Young Biomedical Engineer Award and Special Contribution Award from the Korean Society of Medical and Biological Engineering. He has also received a President Award from the National Academy of Engineering of Korea with his research selected as one of the top 100 promising technologies towards 2025. Dr. Choy served as a Board Member in the Korean Society of Medical and Biological Engineering (2013-2018) and the Korean Society for Biomaterials (2018~ current). He is a Young Member of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology.
