The Department of Forensic Medicine at Seoul National University College of Medicine was founded in 1984 to improve human rights and nation’s welfare to make a fair judgment on the items on the law which requires the medical knowledge.


Research and education

the Department has been an active force in individual identification of forensic genetics and elucidating mechanisms of substance-associated deaths for better forensic practices.
